This song by John Sinclair from 1827 was shared with me by Elaine Lindsay from Something Corny.
She came across it from a lady who used to sing this song in her choir and didn’t know what a breast knot was, until Elaine spoke about the harvest brooches traditionally made from straw in a talk she attended. She started singing the song for them all.
